Legal Agreement
Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and FinPM regarding your use of our personal finance management application. Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service.
Effective Date: February 15, 2026
Important Notice
FinPM provides financial tracking tools for informational purposes only. We are not financial advisors, accountants, or tax professionals. We do not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Any decisions you make based on information in the Service are solely your responsibility. Always consult qualified professionals for financial, tax, and legal decisions.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using FinPM ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and FinPM. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
2. Beta Services
BETA NOTICE
FinPM is currently in Public Beta. The Service may contain bugs, errors, or incompleteness. We do not guarantee that the Service will be stable, reliable, or available at all times. You understand that you are using a Beta version at your own risk.
2.1 Beta Acknowledgment
By accessing or using FinPM during the Beta period, you expressly acknowledge and agree that:
- The Service is in an early stage of development and is provided for evaluation and feedback purposes
- The Service may contain defects, errors, and security vulnerabilities that could result in data loss, corruption, or unauthorized access
- You are using the Service entirely at your own risk and discretion
- You should not rely on the Service as your sole or primary record of financial information
2.2 Data Loss & Security Breach Disclaimer
IMPORTANT
During the Beta period, FinPM shall not be held liable for any data loss, data corruption, unauthorized access, security breaches, or any other data-related incidents, regardless of the cause. While we implement robust security measures and take the protection of your data seriously, the beta nature of the Service means that unforeseen vulnerabilities, bugs, or infrastructure issues may arise. You acknowledge that no system is completely secure and that the risk of incidents is inherently higher during a beta phase.
We strongly recommend that you:
- Maintain your own independent copies of any financial data you upload
- Use the data export feature regularly to back up your information
- Do not upload sensitive documents or data that you cannot afford to lose
2.3 No Data Persistence Guarantee
During the Beta period, data stored in the Service is not guaranteed to persist. System updates, infrastructure migrations, database changes, or other technical operations may result in partial or complete loss of your stored data. While we make reasonable efforts to preserve your data and will provide advance notice of any planned operations that may affect it, we cannot guarantee that your data will remain intact throughout the Beta period.
2.4 Service Interruptions
The Service may be interrupted, modified, degraded, or discontinued at any time during the Beta period, with or without notice. We may also reset, modify, or remove features, functionality, or content without prior notification. No service level agreements (SLAs) apply during the Beta period.

13.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, we will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification.
14. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will notify you via email or prominent notice in the Service at least 30 days before they take effect.
